Patent Attorney Leckel studied Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University Berlin, where he acts as a research assistant at the Institute for Machine Tools and Factory Management. His interest in industrial property rights aroused very soon, so that he further completed the study course Industrial Property Rights at the Humboldt-University at Berlin parallel to his main study period at the TU Berlin. Consequently, after his studies an education as a German Patent Attorney follows. After completion of his education Mr. Leckel became German and European Patent- and Trademark Attorney and founded the Office in 2003.

Mrs. Kerstin Hastall started her career with a training as a clerical assistant. After the end of the training, in which she became the best trainee of the year, she changed to the Intellectual Property Division of a renowned german automotive manufacturer. There she worked as a patent secretary for over 20 years. During this time Mrs. Hastall gained valuable abilities as well as a huge knowledge concerning national and international intellectual property rights. In August 2007 Mrs. Hastall changed to the Patentanwaltskanzlei Leckel, where she took over the office management with a great sense of responsibility.

Mrs. Johanna Steidl is a qualified technical draftsperson. After a short activity as a technical draftsperson at the firm of a renowned german pump manufacturer, she changed to the sales division of this firm, where she was concerned with the technical support of the firm´s clients. In this time, Mrs. Steidl gained valuable experience in the field of office organisation, which makes her an important support for our Office.
